Has the RV community shriveled up?
Or have we just taken a CoH/CoV hiatus to go play some SW:TOR, TES V:Skyrim, CoD 3, GoW 3 or whatever other game is out there.
I see that DCO and CO are free to play. I've only made it to lv 6 on DCO but find the lag horrible and the gameplay to be meh. Then again I'm picky about my UIs. If I can't customize the key/shortcut layout to MY satisfaction I don't want to play the game. I'm wierd that way :p

I think its a combination of what you mentioned and everyone just having hectic holidays. i know that i personally havent been around much because of real life, and at the odd times i do manage to get on, im not really surprised that the channel is dead. give it a few weeks and it will start to spring back. the shiny will wear off of new games and the craziness of the holidays will fade away.
in the meantime, if you have any friends not already part of the channel....send them an invite. i might start broadcasting for the channel to try and bolster our ranks and reinvigorate things.

I logged on in an effort to try some recruiting....got the channel popping a little bit this morning. We have about 15 new members right now and hopefully more to come. We've surpassed VirtueUnited in terms of population size, now making us the largest moderation free channel on the server so yay for that!
Its just a matter of keeping it more active throughout the day now, as opposed to just spurts here and there during peak hours.

ahhh, yeah that makes sense. I have noticed the general silence that is happening as well. No biggie just means I fart around on my assorted alts as I level them up a bub or two before getting bored and moving to another lol.
I'll start a recruiting campaign as well for when I am on

Yay! Sixy has single handedly revived the chatter on RV. I don't feel like such a lost, abandoned puppy now
